ONT PromethION at NGI in Stockholm
NGI is happy to announce that we will now also be offering long-read sequencing technologies in Stockholm, following in the footsteps of our facility in Uppsala. This will be facilitated through a recently acquired PromethION instrument from Oxford Nanopore Technologies.
Having focused on Illumina sequencing so far, we are now actively looking for collaborators with projects and samples suitable for different long read applications.
For a start, projects will be reviewed and accepted on a case-by-case basis, but as soon as we validate methods, they will be offered as service in addition to the Illumina sequencing technologies that we have worked with you on so far!
