How we work with development
We strive to keep updated on new and promising methods, protocols and technologies, and to implement or develop these further in internal or collaborative projects. New emerging methods and technologies are evaluated to gauge the usefulness to the Swedish research community as well as the ability to implement into a service setting. The internal resources and matching competences are also taken into account when deciding if NGI will try to introduce a novel method or technology.

Collaborations
NGI collaborates actively with a number of different organisations. At the moment NGI is a partner in four EU projects as well a KAW funded project in Conifer Genomics.
