NGI visits Linnaeus University

NGI project coordinators Elísabet Einarsdóttir and Mattias Ormestad recently visited Linnaeus University in Kalmar to attend a joint workshop hosted by two prominent research environments: EEMiS (Linnaeus University Centre for Ecology and Evolution in Microbial Model Systems) and CENWIN (Linnaeus University Centre for the Environment).

We deeply appreciated the meeting and the warm welcome we received in Kalmar. Throughout the workshop, we were incredibly impressed by the high degree of collaboration between the EEMiS and CENWIN teams. The way these distinct research environments work together so seamlessly is truly inspiring, and it highlights the powerful impact of collaborative science.

The visit laid a fantastic foundation for future joint endeavors, highlighting how advanced genomic infrastructure can continue to support and accelerate the impactful environmental and microbial research being conducted at Linnaeus University.
