We are seeking a motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Research and Development (R&D) team at the Uppsala node of the National Genomics Infrastructure (NGI), part of SciLifeLab.

We’re hiring! Join us at the SciLifeLab National Genomics Infrastructure – NGI unit located at Uppsala University. We’re looking for a postdoc with a passion for -omics technology development to join our dedicated R&D team. You will contribute to the development and implementation of novel methods and technologies for genome, transcriptome, and epigenome analysis, both in bulk and at single-cell resolution, across a range of research applications. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of genomics and contribute to advancing cutting-edge sequencing technologies.

The role includes designing and performing wet-lab experiments, as well as handling bioinformatics tasks such such as running analysis pipelines, performing quality control, and conducting downstream data analyses. You are expected to actively contribute to method development, validation, and documentation; publish results in peer-reviewed journals; and present your work at international conferences and scientific meetings. The position offers opportunities for professional development through participation in relevant courses and training, as well as through national and international collaborations with researchers, other core facilities, and industry partners.
