Element Biosciences has introduced a new approach to improve sequencing accuracy using lower substrate concentrations. This is achieved with nucleotide-coupled polymers, known as avidites, which enable multivalent binding of DNA. This innovative method was published by Arslan et al. in Nature in May 2023, highlighting its potential to enhance sequencing efficiency while reducing reagent use.
