Twist Custom Panels
Design targeted sequencing panels for your regions of interest. Twist Bioscience provides the probes, and NGI handles QC, library prep, and sequencing.
Twist Custom Panels enable highly flexible targeted sequencing by allowing you to design your own set of capture probes based on specific regions of interest. Twist offers several options for custom target enrichment, depending on your study needs. Read more on the panels here.
How it works
Custom panels are designed and ordered directly through Twist Bioscience. You provide Twist with your target file, and their team will assist with design, pricing, and guidance on the recommended sequencing depth for your project. Please note that the minimum order size may vary, please confirm with Twist during your design consultation.
What we offer
Once you have placed your custom panel order and we received the probes from Twist, our facility will assist with:
- Sample QC
- Library preparation
- Sequencing performed on the Illumina NovaSeq X Plus. The smallest unit we can currently offer is one 10B lane, which produces around 1250 million read pairs. The amount of sequencing required will depend on your design and the recommendations from Twist.
Getting started
First start by contacting our NGI project coordinators. We will guide you through the process and help you coordinate with Twist Bioscience. Once your panel has been delivered to us, you are welcome to submit your samples for QC, library preparation, and sequencing. We will ensure that the sequencing setup matches the data requirements recommended by Twist.
