10X Chromium gene expression (GEM-X)

(now available!) Profiling of gene expression levels at single-cell resolution.

10X Genomics is releasing a new version of the 3’ and 5’ GE workflows, including V(D)J immune profiling. The new chemistry is called GEM-X and will be available preliminarily from the end of Q1 2024. Some of the improvements in the new version include:

• Increased cell recovery, up to 80%
• Increased sensitivity
  • Up to 70% more genes detected
  • Up to 140% more UMIs detected
• Higher cell numbers can be used per reaction due to reduced multiplet rates
• More robust, with decreased rates of wetting failures
